Eley Metrology Ltd offers comprehensive service and calibration to all types and makes of CMM's. With the backing of several years experience and manufacturing facilities at Eley Metrology, the customer can be assured of quality and professionalism from a team of highly skilled engineers. Since its introduction, the International Standard for CMM verification, ISO 10360-2 has rapidly become a necessary requirement throughout industry. Whereas linear (laser) calibrations were quite acceptable, customers now require more detailed information regarding the accuracy and performance of their CMM's.

The ISO 10360 incorporates the use of calibrated artefacts such as end bars and is a dynamic test that takes in consideration not only the machine but also the probe system and measurement software. CMMs that we have or can calibrate include Mitutoyo, LK, Zeiss, DEA, Brown & Sharpe, W&A, Status, Kemco, QCT, IMS, Ferranti, Johannsen, Leitz, Sheffield, Starrett, Hexagon, Tesa, Eastman, Faro, Poli, Wenzel, Aberlink, Hexagon, Mora and Metris.
Where customers neither need nor wish an ISO 10360 a CMMA calibration can be offered using certified end bars and Granite masters. On machines that are unable to support measurement software then a laser calibration can be carried out.
Our range of services includes horizontal arm measuring machines, such as Crown Windley, Portage, ITP, Stiefelmeyer and many more.

Height Gauges

Eley Metrology offers on-site service and calibration of all types of Digital Height Gauges, including Tesa, Trimos, Mitutoyo, and Mahr.
In order to minimise down time we are one of the few companies to offer a full service and UKAS accredited calibration on-site. This also avoids damage during transportation to the manufacturers premises.

Surface Tables

With the acquisition of Crown Windley Eley Metrology can offer re-surface work, repair and calibration with U.K.A.S certification to BS817 on all types of Granite and Cast Iron surface tables. We are able to offer a refurbish and calibration service to all types of Metrology equipment including, Squares, Parallels, Cubes, Sine Tables, Bench Centres etc
Our accredited personnel can carry out this work at the customer’s site. We also offer a full refurbishment service and can supply pre-owned tables and standards on request, from our site in Derby.
