Eley Software

Eley Metrology began writing their CMM software in 1984 with the introduction of ‘True Measure’ the first full 3D geometric measurement package. This was followed by the release of True Profile, the first 2D fitting software, in 1986. The development continued with the introduction of True Pipe, True Scan and True Shape.

True Measure for Windows (TMW) was released in 1996, incorporating all of the functionality of its predecessor, in a graphical based, user friendly, Windows environment.

In 1999 ‘Eley Metrology Software Limited’ was formed to deal with the growing number of International OEM customers using Eley software worldwide.

The current True Measure 3 has all of the capabilities of its predecessor, TMW, but with an enhanced operating environment. At the same time, TM3 maintains complete backward compatibility with all previous “True Measure” packages.

Eley Metrology Software Limited (EMSL) develops and markets many software products, but none of these are available directly to end-users. We only supply software through Original Equipment Manufacturers and their agents.

If you are an end user who wishes to use our software products then please contact us and we will be happy to refer you to a suitable OEM. However, we do provide bespoke solutions or software development work for anyone, whether OEM or end user. Eley Metrology of course supplies this software on all new CMMs and upgrades.
