True Measure4CAD

Geometric Measurement and Scanning Software from Eley Metrology Ltd.

Eley Metrology can now offer True Measure4CAD (TM4CAD), the latest in a long line of geometric measurement software building upon the foundations of TrueMeasure3. TM4CAD is fully backwards compatible with TrueMeasure3, True Measure for Windows and its derivatives like DeMeetTouch.

TM4CAD has:

TM4CAD is a co-ordinate measuring and scanning software that combines the latest software technology with Eley Metrology's 30 years of experience of producing Metrology Software. Like its predecessors, TMW and TrueMeasure3, TM4CAD has all of the complex alignment and measurement capabilities, combined with a user-friendly graphical user interface. In addition there are now the benefits of a rendered 3D display.

With full support for the Renishaw UCC controllers, TM4CAD has the capability of constant contact scanning using the SP600 and SP25 probes for rapid data collection. This data can be used to create geometric features or can be used for contour or profile analysis in TM4CAD's sister product True Shape

With TM4CAD measurement, programs can be either produced on-line or off-line using a CAD model.simple button presses enable a CAD model to be imported and aligned in the machine volume. Once the CAD model has been imported and aligned you can create your measurement program just as would on the CMM but by picking points on the CAD model. Alternatively you can measure features by picking on them on the CAD model and selecting a measurement strategy relevant to the type of feature.
